Project Outcome

Being a music producer for the film ‘Taarof: A Verbal Dance’ was an incredible experience. The film is a powerful exploration of the complexities and contradictions of being an ethnic female in today’s society, and I felt honoured to be a part of it and as a women of Middle Eastern and British dual heritage, it speaks to me personally. It was a challenge to create a soundtrack that would capture the emotional depth of the story and complement the stunning visuals, but the end result was incredibly rewarding.

Seeing my music come to life in the context of the film was truly a magical experience, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to have contributed to such an important project.
